I think there is a rock in my boot

We have been able to add on as well as better fence the backside of our building where all of our adult dogs get turned out. We have made them safer, easier for dogs and humans to operate, as well as dig proof. We have also moved around a lot of dirt and rock trying to make this the best possible turn out for our dogs that we can offer.

We have added and attached bottom panels that help with digging and also protection.

We have moved, dug, and buried a lot of rock trying to get the turn out pens ready for our dogs to enjoy again. We worked hard throughout the whole day to get the panels dug out, attached, and buried.

The finished product with the panel buried.

We are very thankful for some outside help including Sam Battin for not only his guidance but also his skid-loader skills as we would not have been able to do this without his help.

We are currently working on adding support posts for the end of our shade canopies, that will be later up this week, stay tuned!

Yours Truly,
Kristie & Brittany

Kennel Changes!

We have been up to so much here at RidgeView that it simply couldn't all be photographed as it went, even though we tried. We have been making lots of changes to the turn out pens for our dogs and getting them to be the best that we can for our dogs and puppies. We have added on to our existing pens and our puppies are so very happy.

We have added a small play area for young puppies to play with and for people to play with during the day by the front door to our office. We love all socialization with our puppies and we have many takers that love to cuddle some RidgeView puppies!

Fixing up the children's play pen has allowed for the puppies to play, explore, and problem solve at a young age.

Our puppies in transition (to small to be with the big dogs, to big to be with the puppies) now have more than enough room to run around and play as well as hide out in the shade. We have also made this pen dig proof as that has become their favorite past time. We are so happy to see happy dogs!

Kristie & Brittany

I hope that everyone had an amazing first weekend of July, most celebrated Independence Day early over the weekend and I hope that you could all agree that we felt a lot like this puppy after all the feasts:

Blondie's Puppies Move

We have been very busy here at RidgeView and would just love to give everyone some updates and of course cute pictures. We have recently moved Blondie and Reese's puppies up to the office transition pen from their usual welp box. We move our puppies at one time and usually carry them in a clothes baskets with blankets in them. The short trip in the basket sure creates for some cute pictures!
Picture
From the basket, the puppies are introduced to their new pen that includes a bed deck and astro-turf that feels like real grass. The astro-turf is used as a potty pad/surface and makes potty training a lot smoother. After the introduction to the new pen they get into a routine of feeding and outside play time as well as some interaction with the many human cousins that come on the weekends for some puppy cuddles. Soon these adorable puppies will be ready for their forever homes.
